We own, manage & create our own Villas as an on island family & residents. From our pottery studio every day all day, we offer a variety of concierge type services and informed recommendations to the finest dining, unique shopping, spectacular snorkeling & secluded beaches.

You may see our Villas listed with other agents on the web who work with us by referring their clients to us, but we do nearly all of our own reservations here through our site & with our 800 number.

Donald & Deborah Schnell have brought the experience of twenty-six years of Saint John living to the creation and decoration of their Villas. Donald & Deborah have made St. John their home since 1975 and have raised their three children - Abigail, Lucas & Michael - here. Donald & Deborah combine elements of grand Italian Villas from their trips to Perugia, Italy for the Umbria Jazz Festival (the Director & his large family are yearly visitors to Artistic Villas) with traditional, island Caribbean Villas for a uniquely perfect vacation experience. Donald's Studio creates ceramic lighting and offers lighting, design & decorating consultation to all the finest resorts in the Caribbean, and he brings all these elements to their Villas. Originally from Michigan, Donald attended graduate school at the University of Chicago where Deborah was a pediatric nurse.

Eric Lidicker moved to the Virgin Islands as infant in 1969. He remained here until college and returned to St. John in 1990 after attending the University of Texas at Austin and spending several summers on Lana'i and Maui in Hawaii.
